This is an excerpt from my longer blog post about the Ace of Swords card:
You might be attracted to the Ace of Swords if you are a truth seeker and someone who holds the value of facts above all else. You might be attracted to this Ace because you are a very emotional person and you want to harness your emotions and bring them under control with the power of your mind. Or perhaps you are a sensitive person and you want a way to protect yourself from the psychic attacks or overstimulation of our modern world. You may feel connected to this Ace through your zodiac sign if you are one of the air signs: Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius.
The Ace of Swords pendant design takes flight through the air with the wings on the hand guard. The mountains of abstract thought can be seen in the distance and the clouds of illusion hang in the sky. The sigil on the reverse of the pendant is a combination of the elemental symbol for air (the upright triangle with a single line through) and the astrological glyphs for the modern & traditional rulers of the zodiac sign of Aquarius. Uranus is the modern planetary ruler and Saturn is the traditional planetary ruler of this fixed air sign and the two have glyphs have been combined to represent the sword’s guard, grip, and pommel.
